Our Company's Commitment and Culture

The four strategic pillars in our strategy remain at the heart of our work:

  • A strong adaptive snowsport community
  • An inclusive snowsport sector
  • Fundraising with purpose
  • A sustainable, resilient organisation

We are committed to being open, fair and honest in person and across all our work. This applies to all our supporters, members, learners, staff and volunteers.

We welcome everyone and support inclusivity for all. We work in partnership with our employees to help them unlock their potential, offering practical support to help everyone achieve their goals and make progress as an organisation. Specifically, we offer:

  • The option to be home-based for non-operational staff (those delivering lessons in person who need to be at a centre).
  • Offering reasonable adjustments during recruitment and selection processes - such as allowing extra time for reading or written assessment.
  • Offering questions in advance for any interviews and actively recruiting people with lived experience.
  • Ensuring our office spaces are accessible to all disabled employees including wheelchair accessible ramps and offices.
  • Accessible Bathroom(s).
  • Flexibility in working practices – such as the provision of additional breaks, adjusted working and agreeing a personal plan that details all and any reasonable adjustments that are agreed.
  • Alteration of working hours / Flexible working where necessary.
  • Acquiring new, or adapting existing, equipment or technology – such as screen readers or ergonomic workstations
  • Additional Disability equality training for employees
  • Time off to attend medical assessments, treatment, or rehabilitation.
