Why does my job post need to be approved?

Why does my job post need to be approved?

Once you’ve published your job on the Post a Job page, your job will then be listed as ‘Pending’ on your employer dashboard until the job advert has been approved by the Patchwork Hub team.

The approval process is an essential part of the job posting process and ensures that all job adverts are assessed to ensure that they do not violate any of our guidelines. This helps us to maintain the security of our website and protect the users who apply for jobs on our platform.

At the same time, it’s an essential part of our accessibility commitments to ensure that the jobs posted on our platform meet our accessibility guidelines. If you wish to read more about the accessibility of our platform and how we’re striving to make our website communications, content and services more accessible, please read our Accessibility Statement.

If you encounter any content that you believe is not aligned with our accessibility guidelines, please contact us at [email protected].

Where does my job post go once approved?

Once your job advert has been approved by our team, it will go live on our website. Applicants will then be able to find and apply for your job.

The vacancy will be open for the number of weeks shown in your purchased package. If you have purchased a featured job or any other add-ons or features, these will be applied to the post at the point of approval.

Why was my job post not approved?

On rare occasions, job adverts that are posted on Patchwork Hub may not be approved.

This is because we have a set of important guidelines that all job adverts must meet. This is essential for our accessibility standards and to ensure that job posts are appropriate for our platform and its users. Please familiarise yourself with our guidelines when posting jobs on Patchwork Hub.

If you believe that your job advert meets our guidelines and was wrongfully flagged, please get in touch using our contact form.
